QUALITY WOOD

We’re mad about wood and work with only the best. The hardwoods we offer are renowned for their strength and resilience making them an excellent choice for high-traffic areas such as flooring, decking, and staircases. Their natural resistance to decay, rot and insect damage makes them particularly well-suited for outdoors.

Jatoba

Also known as Brazilian cherry, Jatoba is a dense and durable hardwood native to Central and South America. We love it for its rich reddish-brown color, attractive grain patterns, and exceptional hardness.

Massaranduba

Massaranduba, also known as Brazilian Redwood, is a dense hardwood also native to South America. Its deep reddish-brown colour, deepens with age, making it a great choice for projects where both beauty and performance are desired.

Sugar Gum

Sugar gum is a species of eucalyptus tree native to Australia. It ranges in colour from pale yellow to pinkish-brown, with occasional streaks of red or purple. Sugar gum wood is relatively easy to work with and grown locally making it a more affordable option.

Garapa

Garapa Gold, Brazilian Ash, or Brazilian Oak, comes from the Apuleia leiocarpa tree, which is native to South America, particularly Brazil. This wood has a magnificent golden to yellow-brown colour, straight grain and fine texture. It is valued for its durability and stability and low maintenance requirements.

Balau

Balau, also referred to as Malaysian Hardwood or Shorea wood, is native to Southeast Asia. It is known for its warm darker brown colour and distinctive grain patterns. Its perfect for that summer outdoor feeling.

Redriver Gum

Red River Gum is a tall, majestic eucalyptus native to Australia. Its name is derived from the reddish hue of its bark and its tendency to grow near riverbanks. Just like its fellow compatriot, this species is harvested locally and is cost effective.

CARING FOR YOUR DECK

Caring for your deck is essential to maintain its beauty, durability, and longevity. As an outdoor structure constantly exposed to the elements, your deck requires a care routine to ensure that it remains a safe, inviting space for years to come. Investing time and effort in deck maintenance will save you time and money on costly repairs in the long run.

We use quality, eco-conscious, water based products when installing your deck which we recommend for continued maintenance.
